Peran Program Keluarga Harapan dalam Mengurangi Pekerja Anak di Indonesia
In 2012, there were about 265 million people or 16.7 percent of working children worldwide. Child labor has a negative impact on children's health and education. One way to overcome child labor is to provide Conditional Cash Transfer Program to the poor. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Conditional Cash Transfer Program on the opportunities for child labor in Indonesia. There are three dependent variables in this study, namely children's participation in work as a whole, children's participation in economic activities, and children's participation in household work. This study also analyzes the influence of factors other than Conditional Cash Transfer Program on child labor in Indonesia. The data used in this study came from the fifth wave of the Indonesian Family Life Survey. The results of this study indicate that although poor families have received the Conditional Cash Tranfer Program, children from poor families still participate in economic activities. Meanwhile, the Conditional Cash Tranfer Program has not significantly affected the decrease in children's participation in work as a whole and children's participation in household work.Ada Tabel
