Pola Pengeluaran dan Behavioral Intenton Wisatawan: Studi Empiris di Sumatera Utara
North Sumatra Province has potential tourism, but studies related to tourism are still limited. This study focuses on exploring the spending and behavioral intention of tourists. Then want to see the role of the tourism sector in regional development performance. Primary data collection was carried out to see how the spending behavior and behavioral intention of tourists during their visit to North Sumatra Province were using descriptive statistical analysis. Meanwhile, secondary data from the Statistics Indonesia is used to see the effect of tourism on regional development performance through panel data regression analysis. The performance of regional development is seen using the unemployment variable. The results obtained are the average expenditure of domestic tourists excluding transportation costs to and from the province of North Sumatra, which is Rp. 6,152,252.00. 99 percent of these domestic tourists said they would visit again and recommend North Sumatra's tourism to their acquaintances or family. The results of panel data regression analysis explain that tourism has positive impact on the reduction of unemployment.Ada Tabel
