Analisis Pengaruh Penciptaan Likuiditas (Liquidity Creation) Terhadap Profitabilitas pada Perusahaan Perbankan di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada Periode 2005-2019
This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity creation on bank profitability, then the components of liquidity creation are decomposed into liquidity creation on the liability side and liquidity creation on the asset side to see the effect of liquidity creation on each balance sheet activity toward profitability, with the total number of samples used is 42 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In conducting the analysis, this study uses a quantitative approach with the unbalanced panel data generalized least square (GLS) method with annual data for 15 years, for the period 2005-2019. This study uses three independent variables; liquidity creation, liquidity creation on the liability side, and liquidity creation on the asset side. The results show that liquidity creation has a positive and significant effect on profitability. Then liquidity creation on the liability side has a negative and significant effect on profitability, while liquidity creation on the asset side has a positive and significant effect on profitability.Ada Tabel
