Analisis Willingness to Pay Situs Wisata Hiu Paus Taman Nasional Teluk Cenderawasih
Whale shark is a species that is found at Taman Nasional Teluk Cenderawasih in Papua. This species is categorized as vulnerable which will become endangered species due to human activities. Therefore, the direct use of this species is protected by Indonesian government?s regulation. Other utilization of this species is through eco-tourism activity. This research analyzed the non-use value of the Whale Shark tourism site which the willingness to pay of the site?s entrance ticket and factors affecting the increase of respondents? willingness to pay. This research used contingent valuation method and Ordinary Least Square to analyze the factors affecting willingness to pay of the respondent in this research. The results showed that majority of the respondents are willing to pay for the entrance ticket with the average of Rp58.253,65. and factors which significantly affecting the willingness to pay are education, expenditure for travelling and respondents? domicile.Ada Tabel
