Analisis Faktor yang Memengaruhi Penerapan Manajemen Risiko Reputasi dan Pengaruhnya Terhadap Nilai Perusahaan Perbankan Syariah di Negara-Negara dengan Aset Bank Syariah Terbesar

This study focuses on reputation risk management of publicly listed Islamic banking in countries with the largest Islamic bank assets, which aims to determine factors that influence and its effect to company?s value. The sample used is 34 publicly listed Islamic banks in 2015-2019, resulting in 170 firm-year observations. This study employs (i) logistic regression method to determine the factors that influence the implementation of reputation risk management and (ii) panel data regression to determine the effect of reputation risk management on firm?s value (Tobin?s Q). The results show that firm size, leverage, profitability (ROA), countries in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and reputation awareness have significant effect on the implementation of reputation risk management, however risk awareness is the only factor that does not have a significant effect on the implementation of reputation risk management. In addition, the implementation of reputation risk management does not have a significant effect on firm value. However, based on the univariate test, there is a significant positive mean difference in the value of companies that implement reputation risk management and those that do not. It implies that there is evidence that the implementation of reputation risk management can add value to Islamic banking companies.Ada Tabel
