Pengaruh P2P Lending terhadap Deposito di Perbankan Indonesia pada Tahun 2018 - 2020
This study aims to analyze the effect of changes in transactions in P2P lending financing market on changes in the value of deposits in Indonesian banks in the period 2018 - 2020 using monthly data. This study uses the samples from 40 conventional banks in Indonesia which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. By using the random effect model panel data regression method, this study uses one dependent variable, namely changes in total of bank deposits, two independent variables, namely changes in total P2P lending financing transactions and interest rates, and two control variables, namely bank size measured using LnTA and bank dummy based on business activity categories (BUKU), and pandemic dummy (before and during COVID-19). The results obtained from this study are changes in the value of financing transactions in the P2P lending market have no effect on changes in the value of bank deposits. This study also did not find a significant effect between interest rates on changes in the value of bank deposits. Furthermore, this study found that bank size had a significant effect on changes in bank deposits where banks included in BUKU 3 & 4 categories experienced a higher increase in deposits than bank in BUKU 1 & 2 during March 2020 - August 2020.Ada Tabel
