Pengaruh Upah Minimum, Tenaga Kerja, dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Regional Terhadap Indeks Gini Indonesia Tahun 2010-2019
Inequality is a problem or issue that often occurs in various countries, including Indonesia. From a macro perspective, inequality is inseparable from its relationship with economic growth. Meanwhile, on a micro level, inequality is more targeted and has an impact on the lower middle class, especially the workers. Policies related to lower-middle class workers or laborers that often get the spotlight are related to wages and labor. For this reason, this study aims to analyze macro and micro matters, which are the provincial minimum wage, labor, and regional economic growth on the Gini index in Indonesia in 2010-2019. Gini index is one indicator that can explain income inequality that occurs in a region. This research uses panel data analysis with Random Effect Model (REM) approach with Generilized Least Square (GLS) treatment. The results show that the Gini index can be explained significantly by all variables, namely minimum wages, labor, and regional economic growth. Partially the minimum wage has a negative effect on the Gini index, labor has a negative effect on the Gini index, and regional economic growth has a positive effect on the Gini index. There is also a negative correlation between the minimum wage and labor which has a significant effect.Ada Tabel
