Analisis Hubungan Persepsi Perubahan Iklim terhadap Keputusan Bermigrasi Rumah Tangga di Indonesia

M. Shauqie Azar, S.E., M.PP (Pembimbing/Promotor) - ; Candrakanti, Kiara A. - ;

Migration (change of residence) is conducted by household to overcome risks and reduce social vulnerability, one of which is caused by climate change. Perceptions of climate change which shows whether the air temperature is getting hotter, the uncertainty of rainy season, and the scarcity of clean water, can have an association with decision to migrate. This study uses 2015 SUPAS data and logistic regression model to see the relationship between migration and perceptions of climate change in Indonesia. The result of this study found that individual?s perceptions on climate change had a significant relationship and high probability for household to migrate. In addition, other factors that influence migration are economic and social reasons. This study also found that in-migration and out-migration occurred on Java Island. Ada Tabel
