Analisis Faktor-faktor yang Memengaruhi Intensi Muslim Melakukan Wakaf Tunai selama Pandemi di Indonesia
This paper aims to identify factors that influence Indonesian Muslims to donate through cash waqf throughout the pandemic and knowing the economic sectors that are muslim priorities when conducting cash waqf during the pandemic. By approaching the issue with Extended Theory of Planned Behavior, as many as 404 respondents from Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, and South Sulawesi provinces have been collected. Through Structural Equation Modelling methods, the analysis finds out that communities? willingness in donating cash waqf during the pandemic is positively determined by all of TPB variables, with perceived behavioral control is identified as the most influential factor in encouraging one to donate with cash waqf, for it shows that the ease of access determines community?s level of willingness in donating throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, the Trust variable becomes the pivotal point influencing Muslims to perform the donation of cash waqf. Regarding the determination of priority sectors, the healt sector is the sector that is most prioritized by Muslim when conducting cash waqf. In addition, the selection of the health sector as a priority sector has a positive influence on public interest in waqf during the pandemic. These results imply that the ease of doing cash waqf and trust in waqf institutions are the most influential factors on Muslim interest in doing cash waqf during the pandemic. Therefore, related government institutions and waqf institutions should immediately conduct complete system digitalization to provide convenience to the society. The results are hoped to be determined by waqf institutions and related government agencies as some of the considerations for strengthening strategies to optimize cash waqf fundraising during the pandemic.
