Analisis pengaruh regulasi pendirian usaha terhadap tingkat korupsi di suatu negara
This research analyzes the influence of entry regulation on the corruption level in a country. There are two regulation theories which is explained in this paper: The Public Interest and The Public Choice Theory. Each theory has different point of view about regulation. The Public Interest Theory holds that the markets which operate without any control will have larger probability of getting failure. In order to prevent the problem, government does intervention by establishing regulation. The Public Theory Choice holds that the regulation will be economically inefficient because of some reasons, which one of them is corruption. By using OLS method consists of cross-sectional data, supported by panel data method, this research showed that the entry regulation has significant influence on the corruption level in a country, where tighter entry regulation will cause higher corruption level. Therefore, it can be summarized that the entry regulation is closer related to the Public Choice Theory.Ada tabel
