With Malaysia, Indonesia become one of the top country that produce palm oil. In 1983-2005, industry?s growth show a positif trend. Although Indonesia can produce a large amount of palm oil, but slow in the consumption side. This study want to answer the question: 1) what is the condition of palm oil industry in Indonesia and World. 2) how the price and income factor can infuence the consumption of crude palm oil in Indonesia. The variabel that use in this study are consumption per capita, crude palm oil?s price, soya oil?s price, and gross domestic bruto (GDP) per capita. With regresions models, Ordinary Least Squares (OLS), came up with the conclusions that if we want to analyse the consumption of crude palm oil, we must analyse in separate way between long-term and short-term analysis.Ada tabel
