Deskripsi

This study focused on the correlation between socioeconomic development and fertility. Demographic transition theory, especially fertility transition, stated that socioeconomic development has important impact on determining fertility rate. The respondents are 34.135 married men and women that being interviewed for Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS) 2002-2003. The result of the study explained that the higher the socioeconomic development, the lower the fertility rate of a society.Ada tabel
