The focus of this study is to analyze the effect of bank specific and macroeconomic determinants of bank profitability in Indonesia by using GLS method to a panel of Indonesian banks that covers the observation period 2003-2007. The estimation results show that all bank specific factors affect bank profitability in Indonesia, while macroeconomic factors with the exception of exchange rate, also affect bank profitability. Interest rate fluctuation become the most influence determinant of bank profitability in Indonesia.Ada tabel
