Pengaruh stakeholder terhadap kebijakan dividen perusahaan go public di sektor industri consumer goods di bursa efek Indonesia tahun 2002 - 2006
This research is made based on previous research that dividend policy is not only influenced by the investors but also by non investors stakeholder. The research explained non investor stakeholder influenced firm?s financial policy through explicit and implicit claim. Explicit claim are characterized as product warranties, after sales service, cashback, etc. Implicit claim defined as firm?s ability to meet its explicit claim. Net Organizational Capital (NOC) describe about non investor stakeholder influence to dividend policy. Firm which has higher NOC will need more liquidity to meet its potential implicit claim. Increase in liquidity may result in lower dividend payout ratio as signal for stakeholders that firm have sufficient cash to meet its imlicit claim. Corporate focus is used as proxy for NOC based on previous research by Comment and Jarrell (1991). This research also investigate other variables that may influence firm?s dividend payout ratio (DPR) : sales (LNSLS), sales growth (SLSGR), number of common shareholder (CS) and which variables that influence DPR in consumer goods industry sector company ( listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange ) under period 2002 to 2006. Panel data regression result that sales growth (SLSGR) has significant influence to DPR at α=5% and sales (LNSLS) significant at α=10%. Random effect is used in panel data regression because it gives better result and usually used for implementing policy.Ada tabel
