This research is about the effect of materialism on environment belief, environment concern and environmentally responsible behavior. Based on the research of Palupi (2005), materialism is already became a building block desires in Indonesian society. Jones (1987 in kilbourne, 2007) refers that if materialism has already became a part of society culture, the people of that society will encourage materialism as their consumption mode. As a consequences, people who really materialistic will only found a little reason to change their behavior become more environment friendly. The result of regression analysis show that materialism is has an effect on environment belief of person. Environment belief has a positive effect on environment concern and environment concern has a positive effect on environmentally responsible behavior.Ada tabel
