For any company, sales revenue is something crucial since it is often used as a measurement of the company?s performance. Hence, sales revenue is also reluctant to management?s manipulation. In order to prevent recognition of revenue in improper period, auditors need to test the cutoff of sales revenue. By performing sales cutoff test, auditor can give better assurance to financial statement?s users that the company has recognize its sales revenue in the proper period, so that financial statement?s users can make better business decision..
