Analisis pengaruh faktor profitabilitas, tingkat pertumbuhan, tingkat pajak, struktur aset, risiko, dan ukuran bank terhadap struktur modal bank di Indonesia pada periode penelitian 2003 hingga 2007
Bank is one of the important components in the economics of a state. It is related to the function of bank as intermediaries in economics. Bank is one of the companies that move in financial field. The same as to non financial company, bank also requires fund to implement it s the operation. The financial needs can be fulfilled through two sources; they are internal source (retained earning) and external source (debt and equity). Composition between debts and equity applied a company in its financing activity conceived of capital structure. This research will discuss about the relation and influence that is possibly happened between firm characteristics (in this case bank) to bank's leverage ratio in Indonesia at period 2003-3007. Firm characteristic covers profitability, growth rate, tax rate, asset structure, risk, and size of bank. There is various opinions related to sixth influence of the factor to firm's capital structure. By using panel data method, this research yields final conclusion that five of independent variable tested proven of significant influences bank's leverage ratio. The Fifth of the variable covers profitability, asset structure, risk, and size of bank.Ada tabel
