Pengaruh pariwisata terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia 1969 - 2007
This study investigates the impact of tourism, measured by international tourism receipts on economic growth and also the impact of real exchange rate on international tourism receipts in Indonesia using yearly data from 1969 to 2007. The method used in this study is Vector Autoregression (VAR) with several tools of analysis such as Granger Causality Test and Impulse Response Function (IRF). The results show that there is causality of international tourism receipts on economic growth, whereas there is no causality of real exchange rate on international tourism receipts. The IRF analysis shows that a shock on international tourism receipts will be positively responded by economic growth up to the fourth lag.Ada tabel
