Pengaruh penerapan praktik corporate governance dan struktur kepemilikan terhadap kinerja keuangan bank multinasional dan Bank Domestik
This thesis represents the impact of corporate governance and ownership structure on bank?s financial performance in multinational and domestic banking. The objects of this research are conventional banking industries in Indonesia which publish their good corporate governance report and their financial report for 2007. This research use four variables that represent bank?s financial performance, which are capital adequacy ratio, non performing loans, return on assets, and operational expenses to operational income ratio. Empirical test in this research shows that corporate governance, which is represented by corporate governance index results from self-assessment measurement, have a positive but insignificant influence on bank?s financial performance. So does the influence of ownership structure on CAR and NPL is also proved insignificant. But, this research successfully prove the significant influence of ownership structure on ROA and BOPO.
