Determinan struktur permodalan sektor perbankan di Indonesia : studi empiris pada perbankan yang terdaftar dalam Bursa Efek Indonesia
Deskripsi
This research discusses about capital structure determinants of banking sector in Indonesia using a sample of banks listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The standard determinants that will be tested are the determinants that apply to nonfinancial firms in general. This research finds that the standard determinants that apply to nonfinancial firms can also explain the book leverage and market leverage of banking sector. For book leverage, variables found to be significant are profitability and collateral. For market leverage, variables found to be significant are market-to-book ratio, collateral, and dividend-paying status. Therefore, it can be concluded that regulation regarding minimum capital requirement is not the sole determinant for capital structure in banking sector. Ada tabel
