Analisa Determinan investasi portofolio di Indonesia : periode tahun 1993 - 2005

This research is interested to analyze the determinants of foreign portfolio investment flows into Indonesia, known as pull and push factors. Moreover, this research also interested to observe the condition of portfolio investment in Indonesia during the Asian crisis in 1997/1998. By applying the model from Baek (2006) for the Indonesia?s case in the quarterly period of 1993-2005 and econometrics using method for Ordinary Least Square (OLS), the research concludes that pull-factors is more significant in affecting portfolio investment flows into Indonesia than the push-factors. The pull-factors included is GDP, interest rate, exchange rate, and foreign reserves in Indonesia. While the push-factors that included is the risk appetite index, the US interest rates, economic growth in developed countries, and the return of US stock market.Ada tabel
