This empirical study analyzes the effect of Local Government Educational Spending on Enrollment for all Municipality/City in East Indonesia region in 2004 ? 2007. The indicator of educational expense employed in this study is the functional educational spending per each citizen aged 7 ? 18 years, whilst the indicator of enrollment is Net Enrollment Ratio of each municipality/city in East Indonesia Region. The result of this study shows that the educational spending has positive effect on enrollment of each districts/areas in East Indonesia Region. Therefore, the increase in educational spending is indeed required to support the enhancement of enrollment.Ada tabel
