Sonny Harry B. Harmadi (Pembimbing/Promotor) - ; Sebtryna Eva Martina - ;

The decision doing mobility can be considered as an alternative to sustain life and to pursuit a better livelihood. Studies and reviews about population mobility, especially labor mobility is still relatively rare in Indonesia. This is due partly because the sources of data on mobility and migration is still very limited. Information obtained by the displacement of individuals are limited to spatial mobility. While information on the new mobility of labor available in the data Sakernas year 2007. And since 2008 Sakernas information more complete about mobility of labor. Depok as area immediately adjacent to Jakarta has many urban problems. Depok more densely populated and the more established settlements, and not a few its residents who work to Jakarta, and do the non-permanent mobility commuting although Jakarta as the capital of Indonesia and the center of economic activities is a major destination area for the offender population mobility, both permanent and non permanent mobility , which it is already very high density. Data processing results indicate that the difference commuting patterns by gender, male tends to be a commuter than female. In the review of aspects of the area, commuters who live in urban areas have greater opportunities to conduct mobilization compared with those living in rural areas. While improving education is proportional to the participation of commting. Commuting to work in most sectors of trade, hotels and restaurants. Followed later by service sector and industrial sector. The fewer the number of family members the greater the tendency to be a commuter. And high wage levels is an incentive for people to commute.Ada tabel
