Faktor-faktor penentu permintaan ekspor dan daya saing karet alam Indonesia, Malaysia, dan Thailand ke tiga negara importir utama
Using Least Square Dummy Variable method, this research finds that Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand natural rubber export determinants from three big importing countries during 1997-2007 period are slightly different. Both countries export demand are determined by real GDP of importing countries positively and export price of natural rubber negatively, while nominal exchange rate is only influencing Malaysia natural rubber export but not for Indonesia and Thailand. Constant Market Share Analysis estimation shows that before South East Asia economic crisis (1992-1996), Thailand has the most competitive natural rubber export and lost its competitiveness during crisis period (1997-2001) along with Indonesia and Malaysia. After crisis (2002-2008), Indonesia and Malaysia natural rubber have competitiveness while Thailand has lost its competitivenessAda tabel
