Text
This study focuses on the comparative effectiveness of monetary transmission mechanism policy of interest rate channel, credit channel, and exchange rate channel, in affecting output in Indonesia during 1993 until 2009. The research method used in the study is VAR (Vector Autoregression) deference. The results from variance decomposition and impulse response function analysis conclude that credit channel is the most effective channel in transmitting monetary policy in Indonesia during the analysis period. Thus, coordination between Indonesia Central Bank (BI) and banking sectors is needed to reduce disintermediation between banking sectors and real sectors.Ada tabel
