Pengaruh penerapan ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program) terhadap kinerja perusahaan dengan variabel moderasi return saham

This study aimed to investigate the effect of ESOP implementation on corporate financial performance as measured by financial ratios which are profitability ratios (ROA, OPM), liquidity (current ratio), and leverage (DER). This study also examined the moderating effects of stock returns on the relationship between ESOP and corporate financial performance and analyzed the changes occurred in financial performance of companies before and after the implementation of ESOP. The results showed that ESOP did not significantly affect the profitability of a company. Meanwhile, in terms of liquidity, ESOP had significant and positive effect. ESOP also had a significant yet negative effect on company?s leverage. The study also found that the effect of ESOP implementation period on company?s leverage is significant and positive. As for other performance measures, the effect is not significant. Furthermore, this study did not find the effect of stock return as moderating variable in the relationship between ESOP and financial performance.Ada tabel
