The purpose of this study is to examine how the stock market regulations in a country, specifically regulation concerning disclosure, effects stock market developments. Furthermore, the effects of macroconomic and legal factors of the countries studied towards stock market development is also examined. The study is done towards 41 countries that has stock market(s) listed in the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) during the period of 2006 to 2008 using data panel method in six different models, each representing one aspect of stock market development. The study finds a significant and positive relationship between stock market regulation on disclosure and stock market international integration.Ada tabel
