Pengaruh etnosentrisme konsumen terhadap keinginan untuk membeli produk impor
This research discusses about what factors that have correlation and effecting ethnocentrism, how this ethnocentrism that have been moderated by product necessity effecting attitude toward importing and how the attitude toward importing can give impact to the purchase intention. Researcher will use exploratory research in advance to get insight and understanding about research problem and then the result from exploratory research will be used as input for conclusive (descriptive) research. Structural Equation Modeling with LISREL 8.8 program has been used to process the data to see the regression and SPSS 11.5 has been used to see the correlation between observed variables. The result of this research shows that the most influential factor of ethnocentrism is concern for political posture of exporting country. This research also found that interaction between product necessity and ethnocentrism significantly affecting attitude toward importing TV. It was also discovered that attitude toward importing product significantly affecting purchase intention only for goods was imported from Japan. It means consumers students in University of Indonesia more wanting to buy products from Japan than from China, especially for TV and Laptop.Ada tabel
