By using the gravity model, this thesis tries to underline a shift towards Indonesia's trade relations from the ASEAN countries to non-ASEAN countries during the global financial crisis in 2008-2009. The shift of exports and imports tested proved by comparing the total exports and total imports of Indonesia either to / from countries of non-ASEAN as well as to / from ASEAN countries to total export and import of Indonesian.
