Analisa perdagangan intra-industri : studi kasus industri otomotif di Kawasan Asean-4
This study aims to analyses the trend of intra-industry trade for both horizontally and vertically in automotive industry in ASEAN-4 region during 2001-2006 period. The share of intra-industry trade is measured using the Decomposition-Type Threshold Method. Furthermore, this study is also testing the determinants of vertical intra-industry trade as a proxy for production fragmentation by using econometrics model. This study shows that share of intra-industry trade and vertical intra-industry trade has a decreasing trend, while horizontal intra-industry has an increasing one. Furthermore, the determinant factors of vertical intra-industry trade are market size, differences in market size, exchange rate fluctuation, and output of automotive industry.Ada tabel
