The focus of this report is to show the management of fixed assets that is performed by one of oil and gas industry?s companies, X Corporation, in their operational activities. The cooperation between the X Corporation or its joint venture with BP MIGAS in Production Sharing Contract (PSC) gives a huge impact on the management of its fixed assets. Based on PSC, BP MIGAS monitors the expenditure of X Corporation related with the PSC project through Authorization For Expenditure (AFE). AFE is created, monitored, and closed before recognized as fixed assets by X Corporation.
