The focus of this study is the testing of Sarbanes Oxley Act section 404 in PT X that engaged in natural resources business, especially in crude oil and geothermal. PT X has to implement SOX 404, so that PT X is required to provide documentation, monitor, and test the internal control of the company whether it has been effectively implemented. Overall, PT X has sufficient internal control as required in Sarbanes Oxley 404. The result of internal control testing so far represents that internal control has been effectively implemented and needs to be improved to achieve company?s goal for internal control, which is there is no control deficiency.
