Analisis perbandingan antara faktor pendorong (Push Factors) dan faktor penarik (Pull Factors) yang mempengaruhi wisatawan domestik di Pulau Belitung, Berdasarkan variabel sosial-demografi

The purposes of this study are to find out push and pull factors of domestic tourists who come to Belitung Island, comparison of the push and pull factors based on of socio-demographic groups (gender, age, education, occupation, and income level) of domestic tourists who come to Belitung Island, and the relationship between push and pull factors that influence domestic tourists coming to Belitung Island. This study uses exploratory and descriptive research design. Respondent of this study consist of 103 domestic tourists who have visited Belitung Island after watching The Rainbow Troop (Laskar Pelangi) movie. Data analysis methods use Reability Test, Factor Analysis, Frequency Distribution, Significancy Test, and Pearson Correlation Analysis. Results from this study show that family togetherness and study, appreciating natural resources, escape from everyday routine, and adventure are the dimensions that build push factors. While key tourist resources, information and convinience of facilities, accesibility and transportation, and movie are the dimensions that build pull factors. The research also shows that there are comparisons of push and pull factors based on social-demographic variables, such as gender, age, and education level of respondents, and the pattern of relationships between push and pull factors of domestic tourists who come to Belitung Island.
