Analisis pengaruh struktur modal dan struktur kepemilikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2007-2011
This study aims to investigate the effect of capital structure and ownership structure on firm performance and its reverse causality hypothesis using a sample of Indonesia manufacturing firms listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2007 to 2011. The methods using to measure firm performance in this study are data envelopment analysis (DEA) and statistic frontier analysis (SFA). Finding from this study reveal that in general, using DEA, there is no significant effect of firm leverage on firm performance at the low levels of leverage, but at high levels of leverage, the effect will be positive and significant on firm performance. While using SFA, the firm leverage has no significant effect on firm performance. There is no significant effect of firm performance on firm leverage using two methods. For ownership structure, using DEA, there is no significant effect of ownership structure on firm performance and leverage in general, except for family ownership which has positive and significant effect on firm performance. By using SFA, the effect of family ownership on firm ownership is negative and significant. In addition, ownership concentration positively and significantly affected firm performance but has no significant effect on firm leverage, except for financial institution and government ownership which has negative and significant effect on firm leverage.Ada tabel
