Fixed asset is one of the most important component in a company, because it is a tool that can help generating cash flow. Hence, if there are assets that have low market value or physically unable to generates cash flow, the process to write-off an asset can be initiated. The write off process is important to company because it affects the balance sheet of the company and also to external parties such as investor or shareholder when analyzing the company?s condition.
