Analisis pengaruh arus masuk FDI dari Jepang terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi regional Indonesia : Periode 1990 - 2010

The growing influence of globalization has strengthened the investment relations between developed and developing countries. Japan is the one of the country that actively invest into another countries, including Indonesia. Japan?s decision on foreign direct investment is based on economic and non-economic factors. The purpose of this study is to analyze empirically the influence of FDI inflows from Japan on regional economic growth in Indonesia during 1990-2010. Using a panel data analysis, the estimation results shows that the Japan FDI inflows influence the Indonesian regional economic growth positively and significantly. Besides, other variables such as infrastructure, labor, credit and non-Japan FDI inflows influence the Indonesian regional economic growth positively and significantly.Ada tabel
