Dampak agreement on textile and clothing (ATC) terhadap efisiensi teknis perusahaan pada industri tekstil dan produk tekstil (TPT) Indonesia

This thesis is the first research performed with the aim to analyze impact of the Agreement on Textile and Clothing (ATC) on technical efficiency with firm data in Indonesian Textile and Textile Products Industry. Having a data sample from 2002 to 2006, this research focuses on the impact of ATC?also called trade liberalization of world textile and textile products?which was officially conducted by January 1st, 2005. Using Stochastic Frontier Approach (SFA) this research estimates firm technical efficiency score. Next step, the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method is used to analyze the dummy variable pre- and post-ATC to capture the impact of this agreement on firm technical efficiency. This research finds that ATC?as a trade liberalization of world textile and textile products?has a significant and positive impact on firm technical efficiency in Indonesian Textile and Textile Products Industry.Ada tabel
