In general, this research is aimed to analyze the effect of tourism sector toward economic growth in Indonesia during 1974-2011. The author adds economic indicator variables called inflation and tourism-related crisis which are considered as determinant factors for tourist arrival to this country. Error Correction Mechanism (ECM) is used to find out the short term correction to long term during observation. The result shows short and long term relationship among tourist arrival, inflation, tourism crisis and economic growth. To conclude, last chapter informs that tourist arrival significantly affects economic growth in positive sign. Besides, tourist arrival significantly relates to inflation and tourism crisis in Indonesia.Ada tabel
