Analisis hubungan antara trade credit dan pemegangan kas : studi empiris pada perushaan non-keuangan terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2002-2011

This research investigates the determinants of the cash holdings of nonfinancial Indonesia firms over the period 2002-2011. This paper focus on the relationship between cash holding and trade credit. Firms can use credit management to manage cash holding. There are few findings, first, this research document an asymmetric effect of trade payables and trade receivables on cash holding, in that firms don?t use the credit receivables as a substitute for cash to cover trade payables caused the risk of non-payment of these receivables. Furhermore, there is no significant relationship between credit payable and cash holding and significant relationship between credit receivable and cash holding. In Indonesia setting, most of the variables that are relevant for explaining cash holdings.Ada tabel
