Proses rekrutmen sebagai bagian dari sistem manajemen karir pada Departemen sales PT Pfizer Indonesia
This internship program aims to learn and understand about career management system in Sales department of PT Pfizer Indonesia and to compare with existing theories. In this program, it was found that high employee turnover rate can reduce company perfomance and increase cost to find new talents. Retaining employees is not an easy thing to do. The writer found that high salary is not necessarily able to convince employees to stay in the company. According to Badawy (2007), a good career management system is one of some ways in order to retain employees. To fulfill this needs, the Human Resources Department of PT Pfizer Indonesia has a division called Learning and Development, in which the writer was placed as an apprentice. Based on the Noe?s definition, there are four stages career menagement, such as Self Assessment, Reality Check, Goal Setting and Action Planning.Most of these stages were found in career management system of PT Pfizer Indonesia so it can be concluded that career management system in Sales Department of PT Pfizer Indonesia is mostly the same with Noe?s definition. At the end of internship program, the writer found that lack of socialization about career management system in PT Pfizer Indonesia becomes a barrier to make it one of the way to decrease turnover rate especially in Sales Department.Ada tabel
