Analisis eksposur nilai tukar terhadap nilai perusahaan melalui variasi antarindustri pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2003-2012
This study aimed to examine the effect of exchange rate movements on firm value and determine the exposure level differences among industries in Indonesia during 2003-2012. In addition, this study also aimed to determine variables that influence the level of exposure. Samples using purely domestic companies and companies which involved in international activities which is classified into 8 industries. By using orthogonalize market return, results found that there is a strong relationship between the movement of the exchange rate and value of the firm and there are differences in exposure levels among industries. Agricultures, basic and chemicals, and consumer good industry have the highest exchange rate exposure among other industry.Ada tabel
