Effect of local family planning institution and socioeconomic development to contraceptive revalence rate in regencies/cities in Indonesia

Wicaksono, Febri - ;

This Research use OLS regression to analize factors contribute to contraceptive prevalence rate (CPR). The Result show that type of local family planning (FP) institution has significant effect in determining CPR. the Higher CPR is associated with regencies/cities which have higher authority of local FP institution. Beside that the results also show that higher life expectancy at birth, ratio of FP field worker village, ratio of elementary school building to population aged 7-12 and percentage of women having elementary education or less are associated with higher CPR. Lower percentage of child worker, poverty incidence, and ratio of health personnel to women aged 15-49 are associated with higher CPR..
