Analisis efektifitas program restrukturisasi mesin industri dan produk tekstil (ITPT) Indonesia 2002-2011
This thesis aims to examine the effect of machine restructuring program to the technology use proxied by the amount of electricity consumption, efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness proxied by export. This study also measures the competitiveness of textile industry by using Net Export Index (NEI). Writer uses sample data of 50 observationsbthat are made up of the five textile industry sub-sectors and also use the data of textile industry export import for 10 years (2002-2011). By using panel data estimation, it was found that the machine restructuring program of textile industry affects efficiency and productivity positively and significantly, it saves electricity consumption also, howefer, this program is not proven to improve competitiveness. Based on the calculation of NEI, also found, that the competitiveness of the textile industry after the program is decreasing..
