Analisis hubungan biaya kualitas dan profitabilitas perusahaan : studi empiris pada perusahaan otomotif dan komponen yang terdaftar di BEI

The Purpose of this study was examine the relationship between the cost of quality with the profitability of the companies belonging to the automotive industry and components that go public in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The method used in this study is the method of pearson correlation analysis with using secondary data in the form of annual financial statement from automotive components sub-sector companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010 until 2012. The Study states there is a very strong and positive relationship (unidirectional) significant between the cost of quality to profitability. In addition, if the relationship quality cost components are tested separately with profitability showed a significant relationship between control cost and profitability that has a very strong and positive (unidirectional). In contrasts, failure cost has a significant relationship that very strong and negative (not the direction) with profitability..
