Cost analysis & optimization on UKM Rumah Donat by implementing cost accounting & optimal production using linear programming
Small and micro enterprise has been acknowledged as the main driver of economy in Indonesia. With more than 200 million potential buyers, small industry has rapidly become an attractive business. The opportunity is what UKM Rumah Donat try to utilize, providing alternative for good quality snacks (doughnut) with low end pricing strategy. However, just like any small enterprise out there, there are some issues encountered by UKM Rumah Donat. Growth has been stagnant and the UKM pricing strategy might not competitive enough.. The business also hampered by amount of leftover goods on some of their products that become waste by the ends of the day. This thesis aim is to understand the best pricing strategy by doing cost analysis &profit optimization and also decide ideal production number to minimize waste. End result as always is to maximize profit for the UKMAda tabel
