Value creation by implementing digital marketing in PT XYZ
Trading companies in tire business are facing the harder competition in the recent years. PT XYZ management is considering a new business model of digital marketing implementation, and they have to review the benefits, effectiveness, and impact on the financial aspect of company. The thesis explores the value creation by digital marketing implementation in tire business. It examines the value of potential business generated by digital marketing based on net present value (NPV) method, evaluates the sensitive factors which influencing the incremental NPV by using sensitivity analysis, and reviews the probability of a positive incremental NPV by using Monte Carlo simulation. It?s discovered that business model by digital marketing creates value through incremental free cash flow up to 66%. Besides digital marketing generates higher revenue and better financial ratios. Digital marketing also reduces G&A expenses and marketing/sales expenses. Sensitivity analysis result shows the real characteristics of PT XYZ as a trading company.
