Budgeting process to improve PT Defan Percession Indonersia's financial performance
This thesis discusses how business coaching could assist Small, and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in improving its financial performance. The selected SMEs for this thesis is PT Defa n Precission Indonesia which the business is producing precision testing instruments. The objective of this business coaching is how the preparation of an annual budget could assist the selected company to improve their financial performance and how to maximize the prepared budget and review it periodically so it could assist the company to better forecast the cash-flow needed and give operational guidance for the following months. Whilst at the first six years the company has experienced tremendous growth, in the last two year the company endured loss. Data was gathered through interview and observation. The problem solving method used is qualitative descriptive. As PT Defa has not prepared any annual budget before and they could not provide any financial report, coach apply CVP technique to generate financial figures to be used as basic target in preparing the company?s annual budget. By preparing these budgets, PT Defa could understand not only their minimum targeted sales and cost to be achieved, but also could give more emphasis in managing their critical operational activitiesAda tabel
