A study on a company's growth strategy building process : PT. Bank KEB Hana Case
There is no everlasting uniform strategy building process. Strategy should apply environments which change every moment; find differentiated ways from competitors even when modifying the previous ways; trace the effects and efficiencies. PT Bank KEB Hana, a localized foreign bank, tries to keep growing in Indonesia with supports from mother and subsidiary companies. But the responsibility to build proper strategy is not sharable. Current situations challenge the bank to innovate the strategy building process, not only classical ones; M&A or organic growth. This study reviews environments and situations confronted and suggest a way from different dimensions; acquiring multi finance company to get benefits and helps to expand market and to increase synergy.
