Analisis Pengaruh Perilaku Loss Aversion dan Overconfidence pada Kinerja Perusahaan di Indonesia, Malaysia, dan Arab Saudi

This study aims to analyze the impact of two distinctive behavioral bias namely loss aversion and overconfidence towards firm performance in three emerging market countries which consist of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia. The data used in this study comprised of 10-year quarterly panel data for 2011 to 2020 which later will be divided into three small period consist of 2011-2020, 2011-2015, and 2016-2020 period for analyticial purposes. The sample used in this study consist of firms from industrial and consumer staples sector. The analysis is divided into three sector namely industrial, consumer staples, and joined sector. The results showed that loss aversion only affect significantly in the third period in the industrial sector. In the other hand, the results for overconfidence showed that it has a positively significant effect towards firm performance in the whole sector and period..Ada Tabel
