Literasi Keuangan sebagai Moderator dalam Hubungan Akses Keuangan, dan Pertumbuhan UMKM Kreatif di Indonesia
In recent years, The Creative Economic has become a new term formed because of its significant role in the Indonesian economy, seen from the contribution of GDP, employment, and export value. This development is supported by SMEs, which control around 99,99% of business sizes in Indonesia. However, not many Creative SMEs use formal financial access; most of them still use their capital or personal financing. Financial literacy is an essential resource for SMEs to be able to reduce banking information asymmetry. Financial literacy is believed to facilitate SMEs’ financial access and help SMEs manage their business well. This study aims to determine the role of financial literacy in the relationship between access to finance and the growth of Creative SMEs in Indonesia. By involving 109 Creative SMEs in 2020 as respondents processed with PLS-SEM, this study found that financial literacy as a moderator produced different results at a higher level. This finding means that having higher financial literacy does not make the relationship between access to finance and growth stronger.
